Community Guidelines
Effective March 5, 2026
Slipstream is built for people who take sports betting seriously and want their record to speak for itself. These guidelines describe the culture we are building and what we expect from every user.
1. Own Your Record
Slipstream is a public platform. When you post a pick, it is visible to every user. Your Capper Rating, ranking position, and pick history are part of your public profile.
- Picks are locked before events begin and cannot be edited or deleted after lock.
- Tail and fade commitments are timestamped and public.
- Your performance is calculated transparently and algorithmically. There are no shortcuts.
This transparency is the foundation of a fair arena. Only post what you are willing to stand behind publicly.
2. Compete With Integrity
The ranking system only works if everyone plays by the same rules.
- One account per person. No exceptions.
- Do not coordinate with others to inflate or deflate rankings.
- Do not use bots or automated tools to interact with the Platform.
- If you find a bug or exploit, report it to us. Do not abuse it.
3. Respect Other Users
Sports betting sparks strong opinions. Disagreement is welcome. Disrespect is not.
- No personal attacks, harassment, or targeted abuse.
- No hate speech based on race, gender, religion, sexuality, or disability.
- No doxxing or sharing another person's private information.
- Trash talk about picks is part of the game. Attacking the person behind the pick is not.
4. Keep It Clean
- No spam, self-promotion, or advertising.
- No sportsbook affiliate links, paid pick sales, or gambling solicitation.
- No impersonation of other users, brands, or public figures.
- Usernames and avatars must not be offensive or misleading.
5. Understand What Slipstream Is (and Is Not)
Slipstream is a competitive ranking platform. It is important that every user understands:
- We are not a sportsbook. No wagers, payments, or real-money transactions happen on Slipstream.
- Rankings are informational. Capper Ratings and leaderboard positions are performance metrics, not financial advice or endorsements.
- No guarantees. A high ranking does not guarantee future results. Past performance is not a predictor of future outcomes.
Do not represent Slipstream rankings as gambling advice when sharing outside the Platform.
6. Report Problems
If you see behavior that violates these guidelines, report it to slipstreambet@outlook.com. We take reports seriously and investigate every one. See our Acceptable Use Policy for details on enforcement.
7. Consequences
Violations of these guidelines are handled on a case-by-case basis. Consequences range from a warning to permanent account removal, depending on severity and history. Decisions about enforcement are final.
These guidelines exist to protect the integrity of the arena and the experience of every user. Thanks for being part of Slipstream.
