Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Slipstream mobile application and the website at slipstreambet.com (together, the "Platform"), operated by Slipstream ("Slipstream Bet," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Slipstream.

1. What Slipstream Is

Slipstream is a competitive ranking platform for sports betting intelligence. Users post picks on upcoming sporting events, react to others' picks (tail or fade), and earn a Capper Rating based on performance.

Slipstream is not a sportsbook. We do not accept wagers, process payments, hold user funds, or facilitate real-money gambling transactions of any kind. Rankings and Capper Ratings are informational metrics. They are not financial advice and should not be treated as such.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Slipstream. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to request verification of age at any time and to suspend accounts that do not comply.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• One account per person. Duplicate accounts may be terminated.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. Picks and Public Content

When you post a pick, it becomes public. Other users can view, tail, or fade your pick. Your username, pick details, and Capper Rating are visible to all users on the Platform.

• Picks are locked before the sporting event begins.
• You cannot edit or delete a pick after it has been locked.
• Tail and fade commitments are also public and timestamped.

By posting content on Slipstream, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and use that content within the Platform (including rankings pages, share cards, and marketing materials). You retain ownership of your content.

5. Capper Rating and Rankings

Your Capper Rating (CR) is calculated automatically based on settled pick outcomes, confidence, variance profile, and other performance factors.

• Rankings are generated algorithmically and are informational only.
• Rankings do not constitute financial, investment, or gambling advice.
• We may adjust the ranking algorithm at any time to improve fairness and accuracy.
• Any attempt to manipulate rankings (e.g., multi-accounting, colluding with other users) will result in account suspension.

5a. Tracked Sources

Slipstream tracks and analyzes sports betting picks that are posted publicly on social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter). Tracked source profiles are created using publicly available information and do not require the tracked individual to have a Slipstream account.

• Incomplete records: Slipstream does not claim to capture every pick posted by any individual. Records, rankings, and statistics reflect only the picks we have successfully identified and tracked from public posts. They may not represent a complete picture of any individual's betting activity.
• Not endorsement: The display of a tracked source's record does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or verification of that individual's betting ability. Rankings are informational only.
• Removal: If you are a tracked source and would like your data removed from Slipstream, contact us at slipstreambet@outlook.com with the subject line "Tracked Source Removal Request." We will process removal requests within 30 days.
• Accuracy: While we make reasonable efforts to accurately parse and match picks to events and outcomes, errors may occur. If you believe your tracked record contains errors, contact us and we will investigate.

6. Acceptable Use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy and Community Guidelines. In short: be honest, don't manipulate the system, and respect other users.

7. No Gambling Transactions

No gambling, wagering, or financial transactions occur on Slipstream. The Platform uses a virtual Capper Rating system for ranking purposes only. CR is not currency, cannot be exchanged for money, and has no cash value. Nothing on this Platform should be interpreted as an inducement to gamble.

8. Intellectual Property

The Slipstream name, logo, design, ranking algorithm, and all Platform content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by Slipstream. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without written permission.

9. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy of odds data sourced from third-party providers.
• That the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• Any particular outcome from following or fading a pick.
• The completeness or accuracy of tracked source records, which are based on automated parsing of publicly posted content and may not reflect an individual's full betting history.

Slipstream is not responsible for any real-money gambling decisions you make outside the Platform. Rankings and picks displayed on Slipstream are not recommendations to place wagers.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slipstream and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to losses from gambling decisions made based on information found on Slipstream.

11. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or Community Guidelines. We may also terminate accounts that have been inactive for an extended period. You can delete your own account at any time from Settings in the app, or by contacting us if you cannot access your account.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and notify you via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable federal and state law.
